Louisa Zahareas is a design researcher and educator, based in Athens. She’s graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven (Master of Social Design) in 2015. Her work focuses around the intersection of tradition and digital culture, focusing on the frictions and opportunities that arise when these two worlds meet. In parallel to design she’s working as an art-director of a venture builder program in Eindhoven, working with deep tech startups (and technologies from CERN, European Space Agency, TNO, PHILIPS and others) to help them find ways to best communicate their story to a wider audience. Working at the intersection of technology, visual communication, design research and education is where she feels more at home.
